We are going to generate a "Recommended Referral List of Reenactors"
for the groups who wish to be on such a list and have either worked with us in the past, or that wish to get to know
us in the future.
As we are only doing one Expo per year and in a different School District
each year there should become a need to provide list of Reenactors who do School Programs. This list will be updated every
year and sent to every school district in the state. That way groups that we can recommend (again we can not recommend a group
that we do not know) will be put in touch with schools who may require their paid services. This service is going to be provided
free to the School Districts and the Reenactors (no group will be able to pay to get on this list, merit and safety are the
only ways on).
Reenactors who are interested can contact us through the link at the
bottom of the page. This list is provided only to educators and will not be viewable online. Again it is to bring together
educators and reenactors for the safety of all students.
Required to be placed on the list are as follows;
Insurance, whether provided by the reenactor or their parent group.
Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI), this is to confirm that
the reenactor does not have a criminal record which should prevent them (male or female) from being around children.
Knowledge of the reenactor by a member of the Department of Rhode Island
SUVCW and a good knowledge of the ACW.
